Coffee filter for barista machine (013)
This coffee filter is specially designed for use in professional barista coffee machines. It ensures even extraction of the coffee at an internal pressure of 9 to 11 bar, guaranteeing a first-class taste experience.
Challenge
The manufacture of a coffee filter requires the utmost precision, especially when etching around 1,000 holes, which are crucial for an even flow rate. These holes must be precisely and evenly distributed to ensure optimal coffee extraction, while the material must withstand high pressures of 9 to 11 bar without deforming.
Solution
Our coffee filters are made from high-quality metal discs that are precisely etched using a template to create around 1,000 uniform holes. The sheet metal is then drawn to achieve the desired shape and the edge is pressed back to ensure a stable structure. The filter is not welded, and the capsule consists of a single, seamlessly moulded piece. This manufacturing technique guarantees durability, precision and perfect coffee extraction.
