Fuel tank plate (107)
The tank plate is installed in Swiss helicopters manufactured by Kopter. Its special shaping is achieved by thinning the material, whereby the material does not flow from the outside to the inside.
Challenge
Manufacturing requires the utmost care and expertise to create a precise tank plate that offers a stable structure through dilution and meets the stringent requirements of aviation.
Solution
The plate is drawn, lasered and milled to ensure a precise, durable shape.
