Float hemisphere (026)
This float consists of two precisely welded holders and is used to measure the fill level of liquid media according to the float principle. The level indicator works completely without electricity, as the fill level is displayed magnetically.
Challenge
The manufacture of a float requires the highest precision to ensure an exact shape and stability, which are crucial for accurate magnetic level measurement. The material must be robust enough to be used in various liquid media, while the processing must ensure a tight weld and perfect fit.
Solution
The float halves are drawn from high-quality material to achieve the optimum shape for the float principle. They are then cut to create precise contours and punched to integrate the necessary structures for the magnetic function.
