This cover is a component of measuring devices used for production monitoring in the chemical industry. It protects sensitive components and ensures reliable operation under demanding conditions.
Challenge
The manufacture of a cover for measuring instruments requires the highest precision to ensure a perfect fit and tightness. The component must also be corrosion-resistant in order to withstand the aggressive environments of the chemical industry.
Solution
The lid is drawn from high-quality steel and shaped by neck drawing to achieve the desired structure. It is then punched and cut to create precise contours. A ring is added by laser, and finally the lid is electropolished.
