Heating plate (099)
The plate is used to keep ready-made meals warm in hospitals. The space between the plates is filled with wax that can be heated to 115 degrees. Thanks to the wax's long-lasting heat retention properties, meals stay warm for up to 1 hour.
Challenge
Manufacturing requires the utmost care and expertise to create a tight construction that efficiently retains heat, securely seals the O-ring and meets the hygiene standards required in a hospital environment.
Solution
The plate is drawn (top and bottom), embossed and filled with wax, sealed with an O-ring and assembled by rolling up the edge to ensure a stable, functional structure.
