Magnet cover (034)
The magnetic cover is manufactured with a precise H7 tolerance. Due to the thin material, the diameter tolerance can no longer be measured directly and is instead checked with go/no-go gauges to ensure consistently high quality.
Challenge
Manufacturing a magnetic cover with H7 tolerance is challenging because the extremely thin material requires precise shaping without deformation or deviation. In addition, the diameter tolerance must be ensured using alternative testing methods such as go/no-go gauges in order to meet strict quality standards.
Solution
The magnetic cover is drawn from high-quality, thin steel to achieve the exact shape with H7 tolerance, then cut to create precise contours and punched to integrate functional structures.
