Reducer / Cone (030)
This reducer is used in pipe systems to reduce the diameter from 95 mm to 20 mm. It ensures a smooth transition and a reliable connection in industrial and technical applications where precise flow control is required.
Challenge
Manufacturing a reducer with a precise cone is challenging, as accurate shaping is crucial to ensure uniform flow and a tight connection. The cone must be seamlessly integrated into the pipe system without any unevenness or material weaknesses that could impair functionality.
Solution
The reducer is pressed from high-quality material to create the basic cone shape. It is then cut to create precise contours and turned to achieve a precise reduction from D 95 mm to D 20 mm. Finally, the surface is ground to ensure a smooth, durable and aesthetically pleasing finish that meets the requirements of pipe systems.
