Thread catcher (074)
The thread catcher for weaving machines enables the thread to be shot through using air pressure. Flawless workmanship is essential to prevent the thread from getting caught – unclean edges can cut the thread and cause tears, resulting in machine downtime.
Challenge
Manufacturing requires the utmost precision in order to create a smooth surface that prevents thread breaks and ensures continuous operation of the weaving machine, even under high air pressure.
Solution
The thread catcher is pressed and polished, then the surface is hardened and chemically nickel-plated to ensure a durable, smooth and wear-resistant structure.
