Vent duct (090)
The duct is a component of the Ariane 5 rocket.
Condensation water is collected in it and extracted by the Venturi effect when the rocket is launched. The component has to be lightweight, which is why it is made of aluminium, and great stability is achieved by forming and embossing the surface.
The edge with the holes must be manufactured to fit the rocket precisely (the surface of the rocket is not flat).
