Drink holder DB (006)
The holder serves as a recess in the table tops of Deutsche Bahn (DB) trains. It securely holds bottles and cups in place so that they do not slip or tip over despite vibrations during the journey. This practical solution ensures stability and comfort when travelling.
Challenge
The cup recesses for tables in DB trains must meet the highest standards: the parts must be manufactured without burrs and with a precise fit to ensure safe use. In addition, a high-quality surface is required that is both aesthetically pleasing and durable.
Solution
For manufacturing, aluminium is precisely cut and then anodised. This process guarantees a smooth, burr-free and precisely fitting surface that meets the high standards of German Railways and ensures a long service life.
