EMC cover (040)
This cover is a prototype component for series production cars in the automotive industry. Before large-scale production begins, prototypes are manufactured using near-series technology in order to make final optimisations. This is the final stage at which changes can be made to ensure maximum quality and functionality.
Challenge
The production of a prototype for the automotive industry requires the highest precision in order to simulate conditions close to series production. At the same time, manufacturing must be flexible enough to allow for short-term design changes without compromising the stability or functionality of the component.
Solution
The cover is embossed from high-quality steel to achieve the desired shape and stability. It is then precisely cut by laser to ensure exact contours and fine details.
